It is important that the product is the correct size for the height of the wearer – please refer to the product size chart. The Armadillo protector must be correctly fitted and positioned, covering the appropriate areas of the rear of the lower leg. The Armadillo protector is designed to be worn underneath a fully fitting sock and is positioned at the rear of the leg, covering the calves down to the Achilles tendon at ankle height (see Fig 1, Fig 2 and Fig 3)
The Armadillo protector is held securely in place by the elasticity of the sock. To further reduce the potential of any sliding or movement of the product during use, elastic straps (or ‘tie-ups’) or non-allergenic tape can be fastened around the sock at the lower knee and ankle areas (see Fig 4)
