First the outside bit
That’s Aridite®. We make the overlapping plates from this silica microporous membrane because it’s tough, resilient, amazingly light and flexible, and absolutely brilliant at absorbing moisture then rapidly transporting it away.

Now the inside bit
That’s Trek-Dry®. It’s soft against the skin…and quickly passes moisture through to the outer shell for fast dispersal. So you stay dry and very comfortable.

And now the tricky bit
We bond the two together, form plates that mould to the contours of your leg, then link them into the finished product…ingeniously shaped to add that all-important layer of protection, even though you’ll barely know you’re wearing it.
